The Chili Poppers Tour Campaign

Video synced with backing audio & click tracks for Liveperformances

For The Chili Poppers (RHCP Tribute Band) Blood Sugar Sex Magik Album 30th Anniversary live show, we took on the huge production of creating an hour and a half long video that is projected to a 150 inch screen. The video is synced to click tracks only heard in the bands in-ear monitors; and also synced to backing tracks that can include keyboards, guitars, backing vocals, and sound clips played out the PA (for the audience). This video plays clips from a documentary between the live performance of each song. Count-in audio before each click brings the band into the next song. All this made it possible to have the video change with the music and even include lyrics to go along with the live performance. Rever-e can create a live synced video for your band, stage act, or live speech. We would work to establish tempos, produce, edit, and run through the show for a truly amazing presentation that sets your show apart from the rest.

I started with the legendary album cover designed by Gus Van Sant and Henk Schiffmacher. and recreated the design with the Poppers photos. I designed The Lock-up ” BLOOD THE SUGAR CHILI SEX POPPERS MAGIK 30th Anniversary FULL ALBUM SHOW” to match the playful typography of the cover but reading all up right and left justified. The zoomed in rose dithered and low quality gave it a nostalgic print feel.
